It is my intention to evoke in the viewer an experience akin to that of cloud gazing. That is to say, as the eye weaves in and out of the more abstracted areas of the work that one can begin to experience the creative process within themselves as they visually engage with my paintings.

A lifelong fascination with the forces of wind, ocean tides, and water currents is a constant source of inspiration for me as a painter. In my works I attempt to capture the impact of these elements in a suspension of time and space that feels organic and spontaneous.
